Oh so calming, the scent is intoxicating and the velvety texture sinks into the skin leaving you smooth, hydrated and without a trace of residue. This is my first experience of body products from Aromatherapy Associates and I have to say, I’m hooked.
With key ingredients of Rosemary, Ginger and Black pepper, it’s fresh, uplifting and spicy. There’s also oils of lavender, cajuput, patchouli, juniper and pine oil. It’s a very full fragrance that has ice-cold depth.
Despite being a gel, it does give you a little time to work in if you apply a slightly heavier layer. When this weather shifts, I’m due to start running again so I have it on hold for when I get back as it has been a while and I’m bound to seize up!
Aromatherapy Associates say that the gel is warming, but in all honesty I didn’t feel that. I found it more cooling and soothing than anything and your skin seems to heave a sigh of relief. I will reiterate that you won’t feel a trace of product after smoothing it in, which for guys is often a problem as the hair on our legs and arms can be a bit of a product magnet, am I right? But not with this!
Apply it to your chest during a cold and prepare to melt away. On an evening I’ve also been rubbing it in my palms before smoothing into my legs but inhaling deeply before hand. Your mind will just deactivate I swear!
